Float your boat with this spicy finishing sprinkle featuring Victorian kelp.  This is our all-natural Australian take on Shichimi Togarashi (seven spice), which is an incredibly popular condiment in Japan.

What does Chilli Kelp taste like and how do I use it?
It's a medium heat sprinkle with loads of umami character thanks to our all-natural, air dried Victorian kelp. Amazing on noodles, grilled meats, rice, eggs, veg dishes and soups. You can sprinkle it on almost anything. Have a look at our recipes page here for inspiration.

Is seaweed good for you?
Yes – known as the superfood of the sea, kelp is rich in iodine, antioxidants, and essential minerals, supporting thyroid function, reducing inflammation, and promoting overall metabolic health.

Where is Southern Seagreens based?
We’re in Victoria, Australia, making specialty seaweed products for home cooks and supplying bulk seaweed to chefs.

Ingredients:

Ingredients: Aleppo pepper, dried Victorian kelp, black pepper, sesame seeds (black and white), tomato powder, ground ginger. Gluten free.

How long will this product last?
We put a 12 month best before on all our products. Always store with lid on in a cool, dry place.

Food Safety
We take food safety seriously. Our premises is registered for food processing with the Mornington Peninsula Shire and we test the water activity of all our products before packaging.  We ensure a water activity level below 0.6 — a threshold that prevents the growth of bacteria and moulds. Hence our products are absolutely shelf-stable, safe, and of the highest quality. Note you should always keep our products stored in a sealed container in a cool dry place.
