Furikake was first developed in the early 1900's as a food sprinkle / topper to ward off calcium deficiency and malnutrition in Japan. Since then it's become something of a staple in pantries across Japan and Hawaii.
We've created an all-natural, umami-packed, local Furikake that will boost the flavour and nutritional benefit of everyday foods. We've used dried Victorian kelp, toasted white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, organic chickpea miso powder, raw sugar and lemon myrtle powder. Delicious on rice, eggs, avo, salads, tofu, fish, roast vegies, soups almost anything.
Always store with lid on in a cool, dry place. Please recycle container with your other hard plastics.
